This clinical program provides immunization coverage according to the latest guidelines issued by the Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene. This immunization coverage is provided for children who meet the following criteria:
- Children who do not have insurance coverage through private insurance or the Maryland Children’s Health Insurance Program
- Children who have insurance coverage but it does not cover preventive immunizations
- Children who can not receive immunizations needed because their doctor does not provide that immunization or there is a shortage
- Children who are in urgent need of an immunization and their doctor can not provide an appointment
