Annual ban on
open fires - from Charles County Government
The Charles County Commissioners and the Division of Environmental
Health of the Health Department of Charles County wish to remind County
residents that there is a ban on open fires from June 1-August
31, 2007
(COMAR 26.11.07.03B).
There are special exceptions for agricultural operations, and open
fires for recreational purposes such as campfires and cooking of food.
