Thank you for your interest in volunteering at the Charles County Department of Health (CCDOH). Offering to share your time and talent will benefit the many citizens that visit the Department of Health.
Volunteers are a great resource and the Department of Health looks forward to increasing the level of volunteers specific to the Department of Health. Areas and jobs that we use volunteers for include but are not limited to:
♦ Flu Clinics ♦ Phone Banks ♦ Shredding
♦ Participating in Health Fairs ♦ Mass Mailings ♦ Copying
♦ Registration Assistance ♦ Data Entry ♦ Folding Brochures
♦ Parking Control at Clinics ♦ Stuffing, Labeling Envelopes ♦ Material sorting and packaging
To become a CCDOH Volunteer you must submit a registration application. Also, due to being in the presence of children and special populations while volunteering, each applicant will be fingerprinted and a background check will be conducted. The need for such information protects you, our patients, and our Department of Health.

Our Mission
The mission of the Charles County Department of Health is to protect and promote the health and well being of
its citizens. The Department of Health also responds to the healthcare needs of county residents by
providing selected services both physical and mental as well as assuring needed services in the
community in concert with physicians and healthcare providers in the community.
The services of the Department are provided in a non-discriminatory way and by highly qualified
and committed professionals.
