Death certificates are obtainable from the Department of Health only within 30 days of death-thereafter available ONLY from the state.
All vital records may be obtained online from The Maryland State Department of Health and Mental Hygiene
*Photo ID required for self or family members. If your are obtaining a birth certificate for someone else a notarized letter is required.
