Breast &
Cervical Cancer Screening The BCCP program provides breast
and cervical cancer screening services to low income, uninsured or
underinsured women. the program will pay for an annual clinical breast
examination, annual mammogram and pap smears, as needed, for women 40
-64 years of age and for women over 65, if they do not have Medicare
Part B. Participants in the program must be Maryland residents with
family incomes less than 250% of the federal poverty level and not have
insurance with screening benefits.

Colorectal Cancer
Colon cancer is the 2nd leading cause of death among men and woman in
the U.S. However, it is the most preventable with periodic screening.
The Health Department has a colon cancer screening program for eligible
men and woman, ages 50-64, with no or little insurance, who live in
Charles County. Call today for eligibility and an appointment at
