    Family Planning

Family Planning is the process of choosing when to have children. The goal of the Maryland Family Planning and Reproductive Health Program is to reduce unintended pregnancy and to improve pregnancy outcomes by assuring that comprehensive, quality family planning and reproductive health services are available and accessible to Maryland citizens in need. The Program administers the Federal Title X Family Planning Grant. Maryland’s activities are consistent with the Title X’s mission “to provide individuals the information and means to exercise personal choice in determining the number and spacing of their children.”

Services

  • we offer a wide range of birth control methods. During the visit, STD testing, Pap smear and clinical breast exams are done as part of the visit.

  • To obtain services, one needs to schedule an appointment.
  • We provide Colposcopy service for women who have abnormal pap smears.
