All public swimming pools and spas are required to be licensed by the Charles County Department of Health, Division of Environmental Health Services. Licenses must be renewed each year before the April 30th expiration date of the license. All public swimming pools and spas must maintain compliance with the Code of Maryland Regulations (COMAR) 10.17.01.
